Lots of Kids, a Monkey and a Castle at TIFF

Following its world premiere at Karlovy Vary International Film Festival 2017 and the Grand Prix for Best Documentary Film award at this year's fest, the heartwarming and humourous Lots of Kids, a Monkey and a Castle heads to Toronto International Film Festival. 

Taking place from 7-10 September in Canada's capital, the festival will host the film's international premiere. 

Filmed by the Salmerón-family son and director, Gustavo Salmerón, follow hoarder and 81-year-old grandmother Julita as one of her six children searches for the vertebra of their murdered great-grandmother. Exploring the home of a woman whose childhood wishes of lots of children, a monkey and a castle have come true, uncover a rich and charming family history filled with laughs along the way.
