Cartel Land, Mapplethorpe & Jim nominated for Emmy Awards

Three Dogwoof Global titles; Cartel Land, Mapplethorpe: Look at the Pictures & Jim: The James Foley Story have been nominated for awards at this years Emmy Awards.

Dogwoof is so proud of our filmmakers Matthew Heineman, Brian Oakes, Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, and Stanley Nelson on their much deserved Emmy nominations.

Over six categories and nine nominations between them, 2016 is a great year for Dogwoof films.

Matthew Heineman’s outstanding Cartel Land gets 5 nods for: Outstanding Cinematography For A Nonfiction Program, Outstanding Directing For A Nonfiction Program, Outstanding Picture Editing For A Nonfiction Program, Outstanding Sound Editing For A Nonfiction Program (Single Or Multi-Camera), and Exceptional Merit In Documentary Filmmaking.

Mapplethorpe: Look at the Pictures produced by Film Manufacturers Inc gets two in the Outstanding Cinematography For A Nonfiction Program and Outstanding Documentary Or Nonfiction Special categories 

And Brian Oakes for Jim: The James Foley Story in the Exceptional Merit In Documentary Filmmaking category.
