Chasing Asylum wins AACTA for Best Feature Documentary

The Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards took place on Wednesday and Chasing Asylum was awarded the award for Best Feature Documentary! Eva Orner delivered a powerful speech after the win telling the audience, "we can all go to jail for the film that we made."

Chasing Asylum was nominated in two additional categories; Best Direction in a Documentary and Best Sound in a Documentary. Also nominated in the category was In the Shadow of the Hill, Remembering The Man and Snow Monkey.
