Award wins for Sour Grapes and Weiner

Two Dogwoof films recently won awards!

Sour Grapes won the award for Best Feature at the Devour Film Festival in Canada. Int he film controversy erupts when an unassuming young man floods the American wine market with fake vintages valued in the millions, bamboozling the wine world elite, in this humorous and suspenseful tale of an ingenious con on the eve of the 2008 stock market crash.


Weiner directors Josh Kriegman and Elyse Steinberg won the Critics Choice Documentary Award for Best First Feature. The film follows the mayoral run of disgraced politician Anthony Weiner. The film has recently been nominated for several awards including Gotham Award for Best Documentary and IDA award for Best Feature Documentary.
