Wins for Dogwoof

This week, two of our team did us proud and were honoured by their industry colleagues.

First up, Dogwoof founder and chairman Andy Whittaker was included in the Evening Standard's 1000 Most Influential Londoners list. The full list is here and see below what The Standard had to say:

Founder of Dogwoof, Andy has established the company as the leading film distributor of documentary films. Starting as a UK all rights distributor, In 2011 Dogwoof became a global sales agent for documentary with titles including Blackfish, Dior & I and Cartel Land. Andy also brings expertise in digital, and is responsible for Dogwoof’s partnerships including Netflix and initiatives including Popup Cinema.


Vesna Cudic our Head of TV Sales and Acquisitions showed she's also great behind the camera, Vesna won Best Director award at the 13th Liburnia Film Festival in Croatia for her feature length documentary School Time for Miss Roma. Well-deserved , Vesna! Read a bit more about her film here

The film had previously picked up two awards at The Croatia Film Days - The Human Rights and Ehtics Jury Award for Best Film and the Audience Award for Best Film. Congratulations to Vesna for the wonderful news and success of her film!
